Writing Out Line -<Dissociative Facebook Identity Disorder>

Title:
Dissociative Facebook Addiction Disorder

Specific Purpose: 
To persuade my audience to take actions for avoiding being Facebook addiction disorders.

Central idea: 
The problem of Facebook addiction can be solved in simply five steps.

Introduction

I. What’s the first website you will use after connecting to a network?

II. Do you have Facebook account? Do you log in Facebook every single day? Will you feel insecure if your computer is out of order?

A. According to my own survey questionnaire, it shows that each of you even Dr. Nicole Huang all have Facebook account.

B. You check Facebook, upload new photo, or post a new status everyday and everywhere.

C. Facebook provides you a convenient way to keep in touch with friends, but you may not know that you are addicted to it gradually.

III.  Have you ever hear about FAD, what is that?

A.   Typically, it involves a person's Facebook use interfering with important activities in life, such as work, school, or maintaining relationships with family and friends.

IV. Today I will show you the specific statistic of Facebook Addiction Disorder and teach you how to take actions for identifying whether you're using Facebook in an addictive way.

A.    It’s not about stopping your enjoyment of Facebook.

B.   Instead of wasting plenty of time on Facebook, I am going to help you to find more constructive ways to connect socially via Facebook.

(Transition: Now, let me explain more about Facebook Addition Disorder.)

Body

I. Currently, there are 12,000,000 Facebook users in Taiwan, which makes it No.18 in the ranking of Facebook statistics by Country.

A. The largest age group is currently 25 - 34 with total of 4 070 473 users, followed by the users in the age of 18 - 24.

B. There are 51% male users and 49% female users in Taiwan.

C. Every 1 of 4 people in US use Facebook and the people getting addicted to Facebook are increasing.

(Transition words: Are you addicted to Facebook? How do you know that?)

II. Nowadays many people have tendencies to become obsessive with Facebook, and the question is, have you overdone in? And is there really such thing as Facebook addiction?

A.      This video will tell you the symptoms of Facebook Addiction Disorder.

B.      If you have all these symptoms, congratulations, you now have Facebook Addiction Disorder. 

III. Here are five simple steps for you to avoid being addicted to Facebook.

A.      Admit you have a problem
B.       Define your goals on Facebook
C.      Make a Facebook Schedule 
D.      Think of other things you could be doing
E.       Find a substitute

               you definitely will get rid of Facebook Addiction.)


Conclusion

(Internal summary: 
Addicted to Facebook is not a good habit because it causes people to spend extra time on it.)

I. Based on my own survey questionnaire and internet resource, the way people use Facebook is not quite right.  

II. As long as you can followed these six steps and carry them out, you will realize there’s a plenty of time for you to do something important instead of fooling around on Facebook.
